Our Mission
To provide accessible, reliable, and culturally sensitive health education and resources to underserved communities, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their well-being and bridging healthcare gaps through technology and community engagement.
Our Vision
A world where every individual, regardless of location or economic status, has equal access to essential health information and resources needed to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Our Story
Founded in 2018, Lafiyarmu Health Foundation emerged from a simple observation: millions in rural and underserved communities lacked access to basic health information that could prevent illness and save lives. The name "Lafiyarmu" means "Our Health" in Hausa, reflecting our community-centered approach.
What started as a small initiative distributing printed health materials in local markets has grown into a comprehensive digital health platform serving thousands across multiple regions. Today, we combine mobile technology with on-ground community health workers to create a hybrid model that reaches even those without internet access.
Our team includes healthcare professionals, community organizers, technologists, and volunteers who share a common belief: health education should be a right, not a privilege.
